Shortened internodes (rosetting)

Without zinc-driven auxin production, stem segments fail to elongate, giving plants a clustered, rosette-like appearance.

Small, narrow leaves

New leaves emerge progressively smaller and narrower — a condition sometimes called 'little leaf'.

Interveinal bronzing

Older leaves can develop a bronze or grey discolouration between veins, especially in cereals and citrus.
